What’s in My Camera Bag – Street Photography Version

Street photography typically rhymes with walking. A lot. Keeping my gears minimalistic is an essential part of the process and I make sure everything fit in a small shoulder bag or the pockets of my parka.
I shoot with the Fujifilm x100s which is my favourite all around camera at the moment. It is light, unobtrusive and fitted with the perfect focal length for the streets. A flash, few memory cards, one spare battery, my wallet, watch and shades and that’s about it.
The way I shoot in the streets, I get better pictures with a phone rather than a dslr, so gears aren’t really the most important part of this discipline and like most street photographers, I barely need a camera bag to carry my gears. How’s yours?

  • Juan Kis - I would like to see your wedding photography version! I’m a wedding photographer coming from Canon, still have it. I have the x-T1 and I’m debating between another body or the X100TReplyCancel
